Day 23 - Thursday

Day went on as usual, IS in the morning, fried egg rice for lunch (it wasn't delicious at all please! LOL), then APPG in the afternoon. I was slacking all the way in APPG lesson, playing dynasty warrior somemore. -.-" There will be a theory test tomorrow, I sincerely pray that I can pass. :D

After lesson, we went to KFC for dinner, I know, SAME OLD PLACE AGAIN. I think only KFC have the food that we like. :D

I bought it in canteen 1 few weeks back. The noodle looked very simple, noodle with added sauce and sliced long bean , but yet it had an unique taste. Till now, I still remember the taste clearly. WUHAN's must try food :D

Day 22 - Wednesday

The day went by as usual; APPG in the morning, went for lunch at KFC (ate a burger meal, two sets of grilled wing and one set of fried wing which cost me around 50 yuan in total. -.-") then APPG in the afternoon.

After the afternoon lesson, we went to Lu Xiang Guang Zhang as kang liang and arvind wanted to withdraw cash. We went to many ATM machines, but none of it had provide the exchange rates information. So in the end, we shopped around at Lu Xiang Guang Zhang. I bought one pouch for my sister, in case she complained I never buy anything for her when I was in China. :D

I bought the pouch for 20 yuan, it was a leather pouch but I felt that it was a little too expensive.

After that, we went for dinner at japanese restaurant in the plaza. We ordered around 18 plates of sushi, one fried rice and 3 sake. I was curious about sake, so I decided to order and try it. The alcohol percentage was not as high as I expected but the taste was not that good too. I tried only 3 cups of it.

After the meal, we went to the arcade and played one game, which was about pressing the button at the right time to allow the ball to drop in the score that we want. The first time, I played alone and got around 400 tickets (the number of the tickets was equal to the score that I got).


After that when everyone joined in, we played until we had 1000 plus tickets. But an unpleasant experience happened, so we did not managed to exchange the tickets for any stuff :(. After that, we went back to dormitory.

Day 21 - Tuesday

Went for APPG lesson at around 10 am because of the lab test. The test was about room booking. I think I took around 1 hour to complete the test, but sadly, I think I did not set one of the properties correctly.

After that, we went out of the campus for lunch. Please don't ask the name because I know that it is just a normal restaurant :D. We ordered fried tofu, vegetables, xiao pan ji (small plate chicken? LOL) and pork with mushroom. We made a grave mistake by ordering pork with mushroom as arvind and diyana were present and they cannot eat pork. We had to use spoon to take the potato and meat.

Aftermath, we went back for our afternoon APPG lesson. After the lesson, we went to Hu Quan Ye Shi again to shop. This time, I did not buy many things, only slippers and a belt. The belt cost only 10 yuan and the slippers 12 yuan.

The whole trip was not as fun as last trip that we went. After that, we took away dinner and rushed back to campus at around 8pm as we got a meeting with Mr Chua at 9.30pm sharp.

The meeting was pretty much about social interaction. By the way, we will be having BBQ this Sunday at a place nearby to our school. Seriously, I hope that this time the interaction will be fun, unlike the last one.

Day 20 - Monday

Finally, we got the chance to wake later than ever as lesson started at 10am. But the moment we stepped out of the dormitory, the weather was very cold and it was raining heavily, but luckily, I wore my windbreaker. We ran all the way to our class because of the heavy rain. When we reached our class, we were totally drenched.

We slacked during the first lesson of APPG. After that, we went to canteen 3 for lunch. Nicholas and I ate mixed rice, which we ordered fried sausages and steam egg. The steam egg was really nice, finally got one decent food in the canteen. Then Arvind and Nicholas went to buy drinks for us, a china guy just came and sit down. Maybe I was not used to their culture, so I felt irritated. After a while, we went off and headed back to dormitory to rest. During the afternoon APPG lesson, we had our trial test. The trial test was quite difficult, as there were alot of variables and we had to declare string too. But in the end, I managed to understand the program.

After lesson, we went to KFC for meal, ordered chicken burger and two sets of grilled chicken wings. The grilled chicken wings were simply the best, which was not available in Singapore, what a pity. After the meal, we went to the supermarket, which we bought alot of stuffs like 36 eggs, 10 packets of noodles, few snacks and one carton of mineral water. After that, we went back dormitory and rested for the day.

Day 19 - Wudang Mountain ~ 武当山

We checked out of the hotel at 6.30am. We went to the same restaurant for our last meal and then we went to Wudang Mountain to take the cable car up to the mountain peak. The other group climbed up the mountain instead of taking the cable car. I also wanted to climb up the mountain, but sadly, I had to follow the majority’s decision. We queued for over an hour plus before we could take the cable car. From the cable car, we could almost see the overview of the mountains.

Upon reaching the top, we went up to the peak and explore around.

After that, we took the cable car down and went for lunch. After lunch, we took the bus back to campus which we reached around 6 hours.

day 18 - Wudang Mountain ~ 武当山

We set off to Wudang Mountain at 7am in the morning. The journey to Wudang Mountain took around 6 hours. I slept all the way on the bus until the bus stopped for a 15 minutes toilet break at around 10am plus. We reached Wudang Mountain at around 1pm which we had our lunch at the restaurant. The food was not bad, but not as good as Singapore’s. I MISS NGEE ANN POLY CANTEEN 2 SALMON TERIYAKI DON. :(

After the meal, we went onboard the tour bus to “tai zi po” (prince temple?). There were road lanes within the mountain for the cars and buses. There were many sharp turns which made me think of Initial D.

After the trip to the tai zi po, we went further to the “zi xiao gong”. When we further explored into the temple, we saw a group of students practicing wushu. The group comprises from young kids like 6 years old to young teenagers like my age. There was also girls in the group too :D. While watching their training, I found out that their training was very strict. Once you did one step wrong, the instructor would yell at you. One of the punishments I saw was that a group of them had to jump down and up the steps. -.-“ After that, we went off to our next destination, “nan yan gong”.

After that, we went back to the same restaurant for dinner. After our meal, we went to the hotel that we booked to check in. Our room was damn comfortable, and a wide varieties of TV channel (why we lived in dormitory but not hotel like this ? D: ) After a while, we went out for a walk along the streets. Nothing much from the streets as it was already late at night. When we were walking around, we were held back by some aunties, which turned out to be prostitutes. First time experiencing this kind of things, so we ran off immediately. Phew ~

Day 17 - Friday

Woke up early in the morning to check my result and surprisingly, I got 2.9 for my GPA. I did not expect myself to do so badly for this semester, somemore was 2 C's and only 1 A for my core modules. This also showed that I got to work harder next semester in order to get better result.

But still, I had to go for APPG lesson in the morning as usual. The lesson was quite slack, as I got nothing much to do except to think of the title of the mini project. After the lesson, we went to canteen 3 to buy food. We bought herbal soup with rice and went back dormitory to eat. The food was not too bad. After that, we went to the afternoon lesson.

After we were dismissed, we went to Hu Quan Ye Shi (Hu Quan Night Market). At first, we went through some road stalls which sold rabbit meat and other meat. After that, we saw quite alot of shops that sold clothes and accessories. I bought two t-shirts, one adidas shorts, one cap and one small sling bag.

While exploring for more stuffs, Nicholas and I bought mutton kebab. It was spicy but delicious. For your information, never go out with arvind to eat, he never appreciate good food. I also bought one bag for myself and several key chains for my friends. We would be definitely going back someday to get more stuffs. After that, we cabbed back and rest for the day.

Day 16 - Thursday

Woke up early in the morning and went for the morning APPG lesson. The lesson was about lab 4 which I had done until practice 2. After the morning lesson, we went for lunch. After then, we went for the afternoon APPG lesson.

After we were dismissed, we went to play basketball at the nearby basketball court. We were just shooting randomly at first, until the rest came then we played 4 v 4 match. Marc and Arvind were the most hilarious among us when playing basketball. After that, we went back to the dormitory to bathe and went out for dinner. We got no idea of where to eat, so we went to KFC.

While on the way back to the dormitory, we were talking about our result for tomorrow. All of us were very worried about semester 2 results as the modules were just too difficult. After we went back to the dormitory, I was randomly surfing the net and soon after, I went to sleep. That is how my day end, :D.

Day 15 - Wednesday

We went for IS lesson at 8am which was about the business etiquette. I slept during the first hour of the lesson as I slept at 3am last night. Throughout the presentation, I was not paying much attention as I felt that it was very long winded. The morning lesson last for 3 and a half hours until we had our lunch break.

We went back to the dormitory as we were not that hungry. We went for our afternoon IS module at 2pm as we had to complete the summary of the morning presentation. We did not manage to finish the summary on time, so we had to go back dormitory to complete it.

Mr Chua then told us to go to the electronics mall to take a look there. We took 901 to the mall and the trip took around 45 minutes or so. Once we reach there, we went into the mall to take a look at their product, almost all the products were local brand and cheaper too. I did not buy anything as I did not quite like the products over there. After a while, Yong Xin and Khoon Fong bought us a few chicken buns. Despite the fact that the bun was too oily, the buns were quite tasty. So we went back to the place where they bought the buns and bought a few more.

After then, we went to the nearby fast food restaurant for our dinner. We ordered the spring chicken meal and an extra coke which was like 16 yuan. The meal was quite different from what we got in Singapore. We were provided with plastic gloves and black pepper sauce and we had no utensils for the meal. After the meal, we went to the nearby shopping mall to shop around, which I bought a dragonball figurine for my cousin. After a while, we cabbed back to the dormitory.
